Longtube headers and a bigger stall torque converter will wake that truck up.
But your combo is also all over the place, you have a high revving intake mixed with a low end cam. Was this combo recommended to you, or just some parts you put together?

Ditto ditto ditto , I could not agree more with what is already said .
Shorty headers don't do squat , they are barely if at all better than stock ,
Long tubes are worth 20 horse on dyno .

I agree, nothing on that setup works together.

Tune a little off still.

I formed my plan of attack.
$$ on recovery after cam,springs,heads,valve job,push rods,lifters,trays,head
studs, gaskets, plugs, water pump, steam vent kit, break in oil, coolant, a couple new tools and about 20 hours in the driveway. I am taking a small break. Very small break a month or so. Then it's on again. Glad I have another car to drive around.

1=obx headers Don't hate on cheap long tubes.

2= 3200 stall once I kill off the remaining life of this trans

3=back on the nitrous a 150 shot so I am not too embarrassed at the track

4=procharger once I complete the first two item

That sounds like a good start.

I couldnt agree more though that your parts dont jive in the least. At a minimum I'd sell that LSXRT in favor of an 87mm truck intake. That intake doesnt really shine until after your cam has signed off

A cam as mild as you have in the 6.0 will work just fine if all the parts work really well together. That means slightly more converter (you dont need much with such a small cam), an intake designed to work off idle to 6k or so, and a decent set of long tubes. Those mods combined will make a decent gain in max power, but it will make a HUGE gain under the curve, and the converter will multiply that. I've seen guys with cams nearly as small as yours nail down low 13's in ECSB 4x4's.

You need to do a 4L80e swap. That 60e will not live behind a heavy truck. Doesnt matter whats done to the trans, its not gonna live. A stock 80e with a shift kit and all the parts to make the conversion will cost about the same as a built 60e. I would start here before buying another converter for the 60e.
