Default Uncoated pacesetters - Rust

Anyone have any issues with running the uncoated Pacesetters rusting through on the primaries yet? I'm debating right now trying to figure if the coating is worth the extra 150 bucks.

I've had both sets, the coating burnt off the coated set and the paint burnt off the painted set, formed light rust if sat for a while nothing major. Your best bet is to buy the uncoated set and send them off to be coated or buy a set of stainless headers.

I have the painted ones. The paint burned off in minutes when new. While doing the engine swap was the first they have been off in six years. I did spray what could reach with high temp paint about five years ago. They had minor rust on the backsides of the primaries. While they were off i gave them about four coats of high temp paint then some clear coat. They are still looking good and this paint didnt burn off like the factory coating.
