Default Ultimate PD intake arrived, good news and bad!

The kit they sent me had the wrong lid in it, I guess the bolt pattern for the 99-00 trucks is different than the 01-02 trucks. The newer trucks have a screw hole on the bottom edge of the air box, the 99-00 trucks don't. The install is more like an 45-60 minutes, not 10 like they advertise. The kit has everything needed, you do need the screws from the stock air box lid though. The tube was rubbing against the fan shroud, I had to trim it about 1/4". The performance increase is noticable, it seems to pull real good at high rpm's plus it has a great sound. For those who don't know what I've done. I had an FIPK and got rid of it when I made a ram-air set up out of the stock intake and airbox. I'm hoping the new lid and tube enhance the ram-air even more. I contacted UPD about the lid situation, they are sending me the correct one. I'll post and update later after the computer has had time to adjust, so far, feels good.
