The one on the SS Concept truck. Who makes it, how much, does it make better performance than a K&N FIPK. Would it be worth it?

 

ewww this was discussed a long time ago when a twin intake came out. maybe who ever originaly posted about it will re post it for you it may of been big tex. but i think it was found to not be worth it.

 

It was. But the one I saw on ebay was like a FIPK style with two tubes off the the passenger side. The concept has one pointed to each side and the battery relocated. If you ran this, you'd need to move the MAF in front of the TB. I doub't you see any real world gains.

Materials: It looks just like 4" mandrel tube, cut and seamed into a T shape.

 

There is one that splits to each side. But I cant find the f'ing manufacturer. I will do some searching today. It is a intake for a 5.3 conversion ina JEEP.
