just got back from the bud at the shop. i got 3 codes popping up. All 3 are for my torque converter:
P0740-Bad Solenoid
P0785-Shift Solenoid
P1860-Converter Solenoid
He also looked something else up. He said when the tranny is kinda hot, and also throwing those codes, it doesnt allow the tranny to shift into 1st and 4th. kinda like a safety measure. So i told them i would bring it back firsat thing monday morn. hows that sound to you guys?

Sounbds about right ... the only time I've heard that happening though is with a fat converter.

he also said the proble is either the solenoids are bad or they arent getting the right amount of voltage. so i think im gonna drop it off...and tell them b4 they doing anything major and slap me with a huge bill...to call me and let me know what they are doing
