Well okay, that makes sense. To me, there is a subtle difference between 'most people agree' and 'it is recommended'....if it's recommended, I'd like to know who's doing the recommending. I didn't see the install sheet for the Radix so I thought perhaps it was on there, but after asking, I guess not.

WaitintoDrag, I hope you get your issue resolved.

check your fuel pressure, watch for it to bleed off. If it falls off quickly (very quickly) then you need to pull the FPR and check the O-rings. If it falls off somewhat fast (back to zero after 30 min or so) then replace the FPR and the o-rings. Earlier revision FPR had a problem with the diaphram leaking and bleeding the pressure off into the vacum system which would cause a hard start situation if you do not let the fuel system pressure up before starting it.

I was thinking the same thing retsell.

Here's another test .. instead of going out and hitting the starter, turn the key to the On position and wait 3 seconds, then turn the key off and then start it like you normally do. What this will do is pressurize the fuel system to around what it should be. Now that it's pressurized, that will eliminate that from being part of the problem if it still does the same thing. If that fixes it .. I would replace the fuel pressure regulator. The dealership should be able to sell it in a kit for around 100 bucks.

Sounds like a bad tune. Are you using the one that came with the kit?
