Plenty of people do, you should really read some build threads on here.

Its a great intake for higher RPMS. You're going to sacrifice low end torque. If this is a drag only build, you may not mind.

Following this one! I am planning on 600 with a t56. We'll see how it holds up. There's always this you can do to beef it up.

if you're going with a Monster Clutch, I would go with a C7 clutch. They make a flywheel for the LS engines and C7 clutch. I bought mine about a year before they started offering that.
