Default turbo kit dyno numbers

talked Seth again. he is probably tired of me calling all the time. he got his truck on the dyno. these numbers are messed up due to a slipping tranny and he didn't really say when he would be fixing it. He did say it is hard to work on the shop truck when you have customer cars siting in the lot waiting for work.

stock 5.3 with only a dynomax cat back was at 239hp 271tq
same dyno, but add turbo kit with a t72 and no cat, thru the dynomax cat back.

397hp at 4400, numbers were rising fast but flatlined right there due to slipping tranny.

540TQ and i am not 100% sure of this but it seems like he said 2800rpm or something like 2800 was the first good reading and it was on it's way down by then so maybe even higher at a lower rpm.

he said if or when he gets a tranny he is going to try some c16 can turn it up to 20psi, these runs were at 9psi on pump gas. only mods to truck are turbo kit and cat back.

397 at 4400! That'd be on its way to 500 rwhp!

Has he told you what MAF #'s he's seeing?

Seth is a pretty Smart guy I bet if he got the tranny worked out
I think this thing would put down at least 420rwhp for sure
That's also a butt load of torque from a stock 5.3L
can't wait too get my kit ...

If you are looking at 540+ at 2800 on a 5.3, you are going to need an even smaller converter (made out of titanium).
