I can fax you a copy of the sonic check if you are interested?
Hope the build of the old engine is going well. You gonna make a FI motor out of it?
Good to know. I think I have decided not to use the 4.8L as a platform for my turbo motor. I'm just going to do a .030" over 6.0L. I had wanted to go with the shorter stroke to keep torque down and keep the drive train together, but now I just want crazy power.

BTW for an intercooler on a V8 you want a super high flow top to bottom like here at the top of the page. Cooling capacity doesn't matter as much as flow when you're only running ~10psi. The Spearco 2-115 is awsome for it's size or the Griffin 24x6x2.75 is pretty nice if you can fit it. Are you doing it as a front mount or under the truck?

Yeah, due to the strength and availability of the 6.0L motors it is probably the way to go these days. BTW, I had another guy in San Antonio interested in the 4.8L short block. Is it still in ABQ? I will PM him with the info.
I was looking at a couple of mounting locals for the IC. Jerry2500 found a really nice unit ( above ) that looks to be a great way to go but I am still kinda interested in the FM or even TM to take advantage of my SRT-10 hood.
Thanks again for all the help and suggestions everyone!

The short block is still at Solid Tech, I never got it yet. He can have it for the same price I paid. If he wants it have him paypal sales@agpturbo.com.

Why not run what I have? Runs at ambient temp down the road and temp only goes up a few degrees above ambient under boost conditions...like a 95% effency ratio or better! at 8 psi of boost on the old 350 engine I only lost .5 psi through this intercooler!

7.3L Ford turbo diesel intercooler with a 30" Howe radiator and 295 dual fans...I have a tech article on the FSC site with lots of pics.
