Depends on your desired RPM range. On an STS kit full boost may not come on till well after 3500 or even 4000rpm in some cases so using a stock cam is kinda dumb when your operating range is 4000-6500rpm.

this is true. hell i'm spinning up to 6300 rpm now pulls hard all the way up since a put in the new springs and heads. it use to pull hard then just drop off a little over 6000.

Definitely gotta know where you're going to be driving. Me, I'd want a smaller turbo so I could benefit from it earlier on in the RPM range (2000 or 2500-6000). I'd want that for a daily driver. But for those folks living in the 4000-6500 RPM range.....

Hell, I'd always be racing my truck if that was the case!

I had a reverse split in my f-body...231/226 on a 115lsa from cammotion. I now have a 215/215 on a 114...real old ls1 cam from comp. I havent really noticed any difference except for the smaller cam having more bottom end. If you are wanting more bottom end and pump gas, I would consider a 112lsa cam. Yes it might blow a little boost but it will also help with midrange cylinder pressure and detonation.

I always thought that if you want more low end, then you would need a cam that produces low end power. So in your case I would think you would want somthing that goes from 1000rpm-6500rpm like a 222/219 .550 .549 116LSA 111centerline. But I dont know, I'm no expert so...
