tuning and warranty
#5
I have heard that sometimes the dealers will take it upon themselves to update the PCM w/ the latest tune/fixes, and that if this happens the custom tune can/will be overwritten. I had my truck in for a door relignment and x-fer case issues. I specifically told them not to do any PCM updates, they said no problem and actually wrote it down on the work order. They didn't even care that I have the blower on it because neither of the problems were caused by it directly, the service guy was checkin it out and his only comment was to not try to bring it for engine or drivetrain failure, anything else would still be covered under warranty. I am sure all dealers are different, mine is pretty cool about it.

tuners they would not care about although like has been said mine was reflashed and i am pissed about it still happened over a year ago now not much i can do but most would never look for it i took it in a time before that and they were like man i dont know why but yours is a bit faster than all the other ones ive driven and as far as aftermarket most dealers are bastards so you must have a cool dealer to not say anything about your blower
