The HPP3 wont help your 1/4 mile at all except for shift points and if you are talkin bang for buck well then my friend just manually shift the truck as close to reline as you can and BAM! 1/2 sec ET reduction for free

nelson tunes
i have an 89 tune, and will prolly get the 93 tune done tomorrow. i am VERY pleased. i couldnt squeal theses heavy 20s. now i can roast them pretty good. im happy with my shifting, and throttle response. not to mention it gets up to speed quicker. i sell hypertechs at work, and drive the trucks with them alot. i knew not to waste my money and go to a custom tune straight out of the box.

I ran a HPP3 on my old '99 Z71. Really didn't add much power but great to get the shift points up. But that truck had the typical False KR too. The HPP3 is good to run for a while until you can step up to somethin better.
Predator is stuck to the truck, which I do not like at all. If you could tune that bitch yourself or remove to resell it'd be better.
Wester is a good tuner but is more conservative.
I went with Nelson as it was closer, less expensive, and more aggressive. I mean ****, I can run down the freeway at 85-90mph from Houston to Dallas and get 19MPG in my heavy *** Z71 w/ 33" ATs and puss 3.73:1 gears
