IS THERE SOMEONE AROUND THE HOUSTON AREA THAT WILL TUNE THESE TRUCKS?

 

Nelson Performance in San Antonio will do it for ya i'm sure. i've heard nothing but good things about them. MTI will probably do it for ya too if you have LS1 edit already.

 

YES IM GETTING EDIT THIS WEEK, BUT I HEARD THAT MTI IS NOT SET-UP FOR TRUCKS AND I DONT REALLY WANT TO DRIVE TO SAN ANTONIO TO HAVE IT DONE. MAYBE I HEARD WRONG,AND I HAVE HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT NELSON ITS JUST TO FAR TO DRIVE.

 

they can tune with YOUR ls1edit. they don't have the unlimited edit that works with the truck pcm, but if you have your own edit they can dyno tune your truck with it. contact Jason at MTI and tell him you have your own edit and see what he says.

WELL I TALKED TO WAYNE AT MTI TODAY AND THEY TOLD ME THE CANT TUNE THE TRUCKS. ANYBODY ELSE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? FOR THE HOUSTON AREA?

 

Do you have your own version of LS1 EDIT? If so, any shop can tune it for you. MTI can if they use the software and cable that you bought before hand. The software / hardware they own works only onthe cars.

 

i told them that i was getting edit this week and they told me there was nothing they could do for me

 

MTI is funny about some stuff like that 01. just go up there and talk to Jason. or drive up here and have Shaun at MMT do it for ya, he's a bad ***.

 

does jason do this stuff on the side or what, because when i talk to wayne he put me on hold like he was asking someone there if they tune these trucks and then came back on the phone and said sorry cant help ya.
this sucks got edit, and now ill never be able to tune it to the maximum performance,because no one around here touches these trucks
