ok im sure this is on here somewhere but i dont know where to find it...
i have an 03 silverado with the 5.3 and was gonna get it tuned but dont live near anyplace to get it done...so maybe a mail order from nelson or wheatley or black bear...which would yall recommend? as far as customer service, price, and how good their products are?

Blackbear is the cheapest out of those 3 when all said and done.

Its $200 from blackbear for the mail order tune but when you order you're charged $300, the extra $100 is the core charge if you never send back your old pcm. So when you send back your stock pcm you get that $100 deposit back.

I would talk with wheatley too he is also a good guy to deal with.

Can't go wrong with either really.

 

IMO I would go WHEATLEY. Charlie has always been there .....GET it tuned and never look back, unless it's the rearview mirror.

 

Wheatley customer here. Happy with mine. I already had the HP tuner and laptop, so it is all email tunes. In most cases, He will send an update within a day. Sometimes even faster like an hour or so. I highly recommend him.
