Default tsp headers

alright guys i have ordered the headers, what do i need behind them? i have one 10 series flowmaster already and was thinking of just getting another and using them and the stock cats, im keeping it true dual and dumping it out infront of the right rear wheel, is this acceptable? btw idk about sound, just want as much torque as possible

Magnaflow or other straight flow. Cambered exhaust ie flowmaster is just a noise maker.

2500 trucks have the cats downstream of the headers. You can keep the stock cats in the stock locations with LT headers. You'll just have to have the exhaust piping custom fit to where the cats are. One problem I ran into is heat transfer to the transmission. The tranny was shifting very hard in traffic, even though the tranny temp guage never got high. I wrapped the crossover pipe in header wrap and the problem completely went away.

so no flowmasters? that works. and you say dont keep the stock cats? why? iv looked at it and all i have to do is fit the pipe to them and leave them where they are, il def wrap them then since that seams to be a prob, so find some mufflers that are straight flow?

yeah, you can keep the cats for sure if you want. I was answering the posts above that 2500 trucks are different.
