Thumbs up TSP Dyno Tune

I had Jason at Texas Speed dyno tune my truck last week and just wanted to say thanks. The truck is so much more fun to drive now its unreal. To anyone thinking about a tune, I would highly recommend the guys at TSP. Great group of people to do business with.

Its basically 100% stock. 3.42 gears, stock 255 tires, with the 5.3. I have only added the exhaust. I think he said it put down like 225 stock and the graph was really choppy. On the last run it made 256rwhp and 286rwtq. The numbers were lower than I would have liked, but the truck feels great. This was on 93 octane and all TQ Management taken out. A cam and stall are in the near future, but they will have to wait untill im out for summer break.

225 doesn't seem right. I put down 255 or so stock(UPD and a race bullet) so that seems a bit low.

That seems right with the earlier 99-02 models. 285hp with a 20% drivetrain loss equals 228 rear-wheel horsepower. WithOUT my cut-outs, gears, pulley, fans, or dyno-tune I put down 229rwhp with the stock 99' tune. After the Futral dyno-tune I put down 270rwhp. Click my link to find the graph. A good dyno-tune makes a world of difference.

BTW, yackowskit, congrats on your tune/#s! Do you know what cam/converter your gonna go with?
