just grab the factory MLS gaskets. Those 5.3 Head gaskets are cheap in the 2 pack.. replace your pushrods, for less than 100 bucks its cheap insurance...
If you haven't ordered your cam yet Jarred may want to respec it with higher flowing heads.

Before you run out and purchase them why don't you weigh your options. First, find out how much it will cost to mill the heads and have them cleaned up especially since they need a few bolts removed. You may find it cost the same as a new set of heads and if you find a week spring it could be more expensive.
I don't know about you, but if it was the same cost personally I would rather have the new heads.

I got the heads bought for $400. All the spring pressures were perfect. A buddy and I removed the 3 broken studs. Now i need to find a cam that'd work best with a .030 mill. Mods in sig. I'm thinking about a tsp 220/220 112. My tvs will be put on the back burner for awhile..

I was looking on TSP website and looking at their head/cam swap gasket kit, I seen the option for a .045 compressed gasket. Is it worth the extra .006 with the .030 milled head? I did buy a tsp 220 .581 112 from alpinestar. Just need to get my ls7 lifters, and decide on which length push rods I need. I have some comp hardened 7.375 already.
Input appreciated.

Ended up .040 mill with stock mls gaskets. Just gotta set a day aside to tear it apart and put it back together! Thanks for everyone's input so far. New intake gaskets prob wouldn't hurt I'd say..
