I'd recomend using the MSD ignition module, Hypertech coil, an advance curve kit, and an adjustable vacuum advance. Unless you need a rev limiter I'd stay away from using an MSD box. Keep in mind that if you want to spin it to 7K and actually make some power you're going to need a 200cc cylinder head or better which you seem to already have as well as a cam wtih alot of duration. A 327 that spins 7k isn't going to have much torque at all below 3500 which means you're going to need at least a 3200 stall and a gear of around 4.10. I'd recomend a cam with a duration of around 240 degrees @ .050 and an LSA of around 110-112. The 327 is nice, but there is a reason that they stopped making it. The short stroke makes for less torque. You can spin a 350 just as high as a 327. The limitation for the older small blocks in rpm is in the valve train.

please dont waste your money on the 700r4 the th400 is a much better transmission extremely durable get the 3.73s and the th400 a stock th400 can take what a built 700r4 can and 700r4 are ALOT more expensive on parts than a th400 and 400 will be stronger someone on here is selling a th400 right now listed on title as a th350 but read the posts and it is a th400 good luck on the tranny
