I am not sure about the sound of an X pipe. I have a true dual with an an H pipe on my gf's truck. I say go for it. Get those true duals and an X pipe. That would be the optimal set up. I do plan on upgrading my exhaust in the future.

Would it help to get O2 sims and run duels w/Xpipe? Right now I have a single in/duel out Flowmaster with dumps and a Cut-out, would the X-pipe, O2 sims, and 2 mufflers be better?

i just did equal length 2.5 inch pipe with no cats and dual 3 chamber flow masters...i don't have turn downs on the mufflers yet or a h or x pipe and the bish is way loud...do u think turn downs will help with noise at all?? and also does the x pipe or h pipe cut down on noise?
