^^ sounds almost perfect to me. maybe i can do a 18" dual inlet single outlet swept to stock location or turned at angle to tire after axle, i just dont like this dual flowmaster 10s dumped before axle, and im not a fan of flowmasters. thanks for the help, now its decision time, need to locate part numbers

I love my Magnaflow Race Series muffler. Its the 5"x8" oval body that is only 6" long, about the size of the series 10 flows on there. You would think it to be quite loud, but IMO its not. I am running basically just like yours stock manifolds and cats and just the muffler dumped. I really don't tell much drone, but sounds amazing at WOT.

I'm not a fan of flowmasters either and you definitely have no need for the true duals. Just go back to a single 3" whatever you do and you should be fine. Would stay away from the SLP loudmouths, they are just a hollow pipe, so you won't pick up much by doing that and they are real raspy.

hell, i ran dual 3" on my 6.0 and it was too much for it...sounded and performed like crap. for a 4.8 i wouldnt do anything more than single 3", theres just no point. ARH lts, catless and a single 3" corsa is plenty for my truck and im procharged...

well, gonna get rid of the flowmaster 10s being dumped, bit the bullet and bought a 3" dual inlet, 3" single outler 22" magnaflow muffler which i plan on dumping after the axle with an angled turndown to the tire. Cant wait to ditch the flowmasters.
