Guys please give me some help. I had my truck tuned for a couple months with the predator, then gas prices rose and i went back to stock. I was going to put the tune back on today but now it say cany identify vin or some bullshit and my truck won't start please give me some info so i can get my truck running again

 

sounds like the predator locked the pcm when you took it off. Not sure how to fix it unless the dealership could flash your computer.

 

try installing the tune again. mine acted funny like that one day, i just kept trying to put the tune in and it finally accepted it. also, send an email to johan@diablosport.com. he can probably help you. however, he probably won't be in the office until monday....hope you get it fixed by then

 

I didnt ahve the Pred but I had the Hypertech and one day when I wanted to go back to stock it screwed up and my PCM didnt have anything flashed on it and my truck wouldnt start and I swear I just tried over and over for about 2 hours and it finally put my stock tune in. I told the jerkoffs at Hypersh*t and they couldnt believe I got it to work after that and that I was really luckY. Im glad t did because 5 days later I had a custom tune. They repaired it and I sold it. All I can tell you to do is call them and keep trying over and over but you night have to charge you battery if you try to many times in a row. GOOD LUCK MAN!

check your battery make sure it is fully charged i put a programmer in my buddys truck and his battery wasnt good in the truck and went to low and the programmer shut off and fried the computer. it has to be at 12 volts

 

mine would turn over when i had a prob

 

I been going through the same sh*t lately with the HPP3. I hope my truck will start when I do the passlock re-learn procedure. That programmer has cost me over 2 weeks without my truck!!!!

 

my 03' did the exact same thing when i tried to put it back to stock tune, i also had the predator. I tried for a couple hours until i finally gave up and called GM to come and tow it. (it was still under factory warranty) I unplugged the battery before they picked it up jsut to make sure they don't find out i had something done to it and say its not covered. They came and towed it and fixed it (took about a day) when i picked it up they sayed some sensor or something was fried, i don't really remember what it was called exactly. that was a real **** off, on top of that i had tried getting a hold of granatelli but to no avail. becasue of this im never buying their products gain. hope u get yours back running.
