Default Truck Throttle Body

Anyone have a drive by wire diagram for a 03 chevy truck? I need help with converting it to a ls2 TB

A YELLOW TAC Motor Control - 1

B BLK/WHT Low Reference

C BROWN TAC Motor Control - 2

D BLACK Low Reference

E LT BLUE/BLK 5 Volt Reference

F PURPLE TP Sensor 2 Signal

G DARK GREEN TP Sensor 1 Signal

H GREY 5 Volt Reference

Big Tex thanks for all your help! But I still can't get it wired correct. Can you send me or direct my to a wiring diagram from ls1 truck to Ls2 .

One thing that will help you - you can buy a service harness for the 05 SSR throttle body. That will give you the 6 conductor plug and several inches of wire to splice into your existing wire harness.

You are going to have to think through this a little yourself. You know that the 03 has 8 wires and the 05 has 6 wires. The 03s extra two wires are 5v reference and ground. The 05 uses a single ground and 5v reference for the TP sensors.

If it were me, I'd play connect the wires, leave off one ground and one 5v reference for the 03 harness, and see if it works.

PINS for the 05 TB:
A.) ACT2
B.) ACT1
C.) +5v TPS Reference – Common to both TPS’s
D.) TP1 Signal 0-5v
E.) Common Ground
F.) TP2 Signal 5-0v
