different place....varies....but for the machine work and hone...about $400.

damn no to bad but not too cheap either....lol. what all could i do the just the 350 block as it is to crank so power out.

Well.....not sure what you are really asking.....special machine work has to be done to put the 3.750 stroke in a 350 and clear the block.

i talking about as far as just using a 350 block etc. no machine work and what not.

You could bore out the block to a 4.030 for a 355 and put on a set of heads and cam. If you are wanting to run NOS...then I would opt for a set of forged pistons and some good rings.

true true all that sounds good. ok how about this. lets say i'm to go w/ my 1st plan and buy a 400 block and keep my heads and **** i have now....what internals are suggested?

Well.....with a 400...I would still recommend a forged piston and rods. If you have the money...get the crank too b/c of the nitrous. Then I would port and polish my heads or get a aftermarket set, cam, etc.

What is your man purpose with this truck? Is it your daily driver or weekend warrior?

well if all works right it'll be just a play toy to take out on weekends and drop some jaws if you know what i mean. its quite fun to see the look on people's face when they lose to a truck. but yea if not i'll drive it every day but run it on weekends.

Well.....it needs to be one or the other b/c you can't make a 500hp engine get good mpg NA. So, if its just a weekend toy then bigger is better but if its a DD....then think reliability first.
