I have a 03 v6 1500 silverado that I wonna swop out to a LS1 motor . I have heard this is possible . Has anyone tried this or know of anyone who has tried this ? Sorry if this is the wrong forum .

 

direct bolt in deal. Just carry your front accessories over and your intake manifold.

 

He has a V6 can you go into more detail how the intake swap would happened.

Get a complete LS1, LS6, LQ9, or LQ4 with harness and drop it in.

 

yeah I heard about the wire harness deal it seems like the truck I have has the options to do many things with it. I got the work truck edition of the silverado 1500 line . I was told by the service department that it can be done the problem is getting the wire harness right to the motor . He also said if I could get the same wire harness that came with the motor and trans it would be easier to tune. Well true I don't know but it would help if anyone knew someone who already did this so I can learn the little in's and out that could make this swop a pain or not.
