That question is driving me crazy. I got a ls6 intake sitting in my closet.
You need to come pick it up, have it installed, and then redyno.

But as I said in your post on tech, it's obvious in my eyes that there is
some sort of restriction in your 5-6 thousand rpm range.
In my opinion, there is no way is a TR224 112 going to
flat line like that.

We could speculate that perhaps your camshaft wasn't degreed in correctly.

For example, perhaps it was installed 8* advanced and that caused the
early peak. But if this was the case, I still couldn't see why it would
flatline from 5400-6200. Power would peak and then rapidly fall off.

I don't know... It's interesting none the less.

A while back, wasn't there a flow comparison between the LS1, LS6 and truck intakes?

What about the LS2 SSR (Truck Style) intake, it did good on the dyno for my LS2 before the Radix install. Here is a link to my e-bay auction for pictures of it. From what I understand it flows as much as the LS6 and is still a raised runner design.

yes, it is choking compared to the car intakes. the 01' and newer car intake is the one to go with, or aftermarket.

Could be the flowceap muffler. I dunno interested to see what you come up with. You should try his other intake to put this issue to rest once and for all.

IMO those numbers look pretty good considering Ive heard that 20's will show a little less HP due to the heavy rotating mass. Most LS1 cars Ive seen with those mods put about that to the wheels. This is what Ive actually seen, not the 400 rwhp cam only cars Ive read about. You may gain a little more up top with the LS6 intake, but youll probably loose a little down low.
Is that showing the AFR at 12:1?? If so, thats a little rich dont you think?

Yeah, it's running a little fat. I gotta get a better tune in it. Maybe that's what's causing the power to fall off up top?

I know my 212/218 cam in the 4.8 made good power all the way up to 6000 or so....

Have you done any testing? I feel you are right for my own reasons
but, I'd like to know for sure.
