I think the point being made is that if they didn't know the trucks had Gen 3 engines, there's a good chance they didn't purchase the unlimited license that allows them to do both cars and trucks.

We have the full unlimited LS1 Edit here and it makes a big difference in pricing whether you can do: 1) ALL cars, 2) ALL trucks, or 3) ALL cars and trucks!

You just want to make sure they have option 3 before going there.

Got it! Thx for the heads' up. I usually peek at the price for the unlimited version ( $7k+ ) and run screaming. Since the GM motors are sooooooo similar in construction platforms and programming I just assumed access to the computer is access to the computer. Good to know, I'll ask the shop again to clarify.
