Default FMS cam recommendation for 383 LS1 Stroker!!!

Allan recommended this cam for my 383 LS1 build-up:

230/232-.595/.585-113lsa

This motor is gonna be awesome! I just ordered my 3.90s from them the other day. The money is slowly coming in...

I just have to ask but why a 383 over a 408? $ should be near the same shouldnt it?Definetly thats a healthy cam.

It's a 98' LS1 block that I'm stroking. I could have sold that block and got a 6.0 block, but didn't want to go through the trouble. Plus I'm saving a bunch of weight
