Give us some info on your truck. Year, engine, mileage and any mods you may have made to it.

Not a lot of info to go on here, but I would imagine that 118k miles on the 4L60E may have something to do with it. When was the last time you serviced the tranny? Did you use regular or synthetic?

it was serviced at 60,000 according to the guy i bought it from back in february, with what im assuming was regular fluid.at part throttle the shifts have been feeling a little harsh too, kind of coming with a thud in second.also, my tow/haul doesnt work anymore.

Kinda sounds like you may have a vette or billet servo installed if it's harsh at part throttle. If so, it's possible that the PCM has been tuned/altered as well. Any way to quiz the previous owner?

i really have no way of getting in contact with the guy, i doubt he did anything other than change the fluid. he did mention having the hypertech program on there, but he pulled it off before selling it.when i first got the truck it did act kind of weird, bumping the rev limiter between the 1-2 shift, but that went away after time.
