Default Transgo and TQM

I'm wanting to get a Transgo shift kit and billet servos from kds performance, but it says that I have to disable torque managment first. Is there any one using the Transgo that still has all of their torque management threre? Is this going to be bad for my tranny or will the torque management try to counter act the shift kit?

What is the easiest way to get rid of torque management? Is LS1Edit the only way?

Thanks

Diablo or Edit are the ways to do it.
Hit Man X has the transgo and all of TM I believe.
I think he said you can't really feel it on the 1-2 shift, but you can on the 2-3 shift.
I want to remove it too, but I don't want a tranny that will go out in the next few months.
TTT for ya. I want to know too

Yup, I have both billets and a TransGo...I don't have too many mods is maybe why you can't really feel it on the 1-2 shift. You do notice it more on the 2-3 WOT shift.

I plan to get a tune on the 30th (two days from now) on delete all the TqMgt...I shall keep ya guys posted.

i guess it depends on your particular setup and how the tranny was actually built/setup. i also have a transgo kit and it hits second almost like you got rearended but the 2-3 shift isn't all that impressive although still pretty firm. all the TQM does is kill your timing to a pathetic number and you don't make as much power. like i explained it to another guy here, i grew up with the old school stuff as a mechanic at a chevy garage, you know, carburetors and the like. we NEVER had anything relating to TQM at all and didn't have any transmission problems out of the ordinary. TQM is just GM's answer to warranty/repair problems. they do offer longer warranty's now. is TQM good? that all depends on how you look at it. if you want your tranny to last forever, leave it in. if you want total performance, take it all out. if you want something inbetween, go with settings inbetween.
