I have a stock 4L60E, and was thinking this may help firm up the shifts without having to install a transpak or shift improver kit.

 

512Silver...those are what I am talking about. They just raise the line pressure to insane levels. STAY AWAY from those.

Do yourself a favor and if you want better shifts, go with a TransGo shift kit with one washer in the 1-2 accumulator for tighter shifts and its valve body correction.
