Default Trans temp sensor

Im wondering if there is anyway to wire into the stock trans temp sensor that is originally in the trans and if anybody has done it. Im trying to wire an aftermarket gauge and don't want to tap the oil pan. Thanks in advance.

There are no wires. Its a port where you can thread in a trans temp sensor.
