Default Trans temp sender ---

Ordered a B&M super cooler...and will be installing like Flyers truck.

Dont have a factory gauge
Also would like install another autometer gauge for the
trans temp.

Where are you guys tapping into ....in the transmission for the sender ?

I bought an electronic guage that came with a sender from autometer.
took out a plug right above the shift linkage and pluged it in there.
installed the gauge in my instrument cluster.

That is the best / easiest place to do it!

Or you could just put in a denali or escalade cluster.

I ordered a Avalanche 2500 cluster which is exactly like the stock 1500 cluster, except there's a tranny temp gauge on it.

if you got the funds you could go that route, but I didn't and only spent $54.00 on the gauge.
Cheaper and still looks clean
