Default Trans cooler mounting ????'s

I searched the forums on this. BUt I didnt come up with much on how people mounted them. Im gonna get the B&M 70624. I really dont wanna use those zip tie holders. Is it possible to mount the cooler solid to some radiator supports or something? Anybody have some pics of thier coolers? Also, whats the best way to hook this thing up to the stock cooler lines? or do you do some sort of series hookup?

I installed the same cooler. I wasn't too excited about using those zip ties either. Look on this page:

Cooler Install

and you will see a pic of one installed (bottom row on the left). I made some extensions/brackets from some 1/8" X 1" by about 6" long metal stock, drilled some holes in the ""A" frame that surrounds that area, and mounted it to that frame. It is not going ANYWHERE now that I have it mounted. It just seems the zip ties are asking for damage to occur over time to the radiator...a chance I didn't want to take. HTH.
