Default Tranny Troubles

Well, its just one thing after another....I put my new radiator in the other day and have been driving it since and this morning was getting on the usual highway entrance when I see smoke pouring from my hood, quickly pull off the road and turn the engine off, then I see it's transmission fluid an starts a small fire on the dry grass under my truck.....so I back up, and put the fire out, then I see that the transmission cooler line coming from the radiator has popped off, so I have nearly lost all of my ATF and I refilled most of it but i don't know whether to check it cold or hot??? Also will I have to have it taken in to get checked??

Sounds like it got hot, built up pressure then blew the line off. I would just make for darn sure the line is secured on now, and drive it to see what happens. Be sure to top the ATF off. You should get it close to the cold mark on the very bottom of the dipstick. After you get it close there, drive it around to let it get up to temperature and then check it on the hot level of the dipstick. Make sure not to overfill it.
