Anyone know how much the trailer hitch weighs? Is it worth taking it off to reduce weight?

 

I believe the factory hitch weights about 30lbs.

 

No way. I took my factory hitch off w/ ball and all, and it weighed 74lbs. Just by taking it off, and the spair out, you will gain a little over .1 in the 1/4.

Figure you will gain @ .1 for every 100lbs you drop.
