Congrats Flyer, all the radix god.

I am very impressed with your times, but mostly with that launch you pulled off. With the 26X11.5 ET streets I was using, the best I could muster with them spinning was 2.03 60ft. You have now given me motivation to make my truck faster, thanks for making me spend more money . Now quit guessing and go get that thing dynoed.

I've always used the calculators at www.smokemup.com. Using 4550 lbs, 110mph and 20% drivetrain loss, I got the following:

You Entered:
Vehicle Weight - 4550 (lbs)
Trap Speed - 110.79 (mph)
Drivetrain Loss - 20 (%)

Results:
Rear Wheel HP - 420.1
Crankshaft HP - 525.1
Power to Weight (rwhp) - 10.8 (lower is better)
Power to Weight (crank hp) - 8.7 (lower is better)

thats the numbers i cam up with. it is the killer launch that got you the ET not so much the hp. there is at least another 50hp in that radix if you feel like turning it up. problem is geting it too dead hook like you did for this run.

So .. the numbers I came up with were a little optimistic. I just tried the first 3 or so on the search.

I'm thinking hard about making another trip during the day when the track's a little more predictable and see if I CAN back it up or even better it. I'm tempted to run more boost. I may wait til after I get alternative transportation though .... just in case.
