i think when you are fighting traction the lower 1st of a 60 doesn't help but hurts. eaiser to launch with an 80.

i tried launching in 2nd with my truck a few times and got about the same 60'. i never really tried cranking up the boost. someone sugested i try a 2nd gear launch but i didn't think it would work, now i wonder. i better go out and try it.

That's awesome Nate! I guess I had better get back to the track and step it up a notch.

I know somewhat how you feel about giving up. The night I got my 12.09, I was sure I was gonna bust an 11 but the weather and track got progressively worst thru out the night. All of our good weather is gone now and it is starting to warm up now so it is not going to happen withthe current combo. However, I do have a new round of mods comming in the next few weeks.

Congratulations on breaking the 11's buddy!

No ... I wasn't trying to stop before the beams. I was just trying to make sure and lay a nice patch of rubber to launch out of. Sitting still doing burn outs hasn't worked in the past, so I thought I'd try something different.

I'll try and get a log up showing the run.

Something else worth mentioning, it's running a little richer than I usually run on the street. I usually try and keep the o2's around 890-910, it was at 930-940 for the majority of the run.

Dunno, nver dynoed but at 4550 lbs raceweight though, the ET calc puts me at 526 (26 over the RADIX 'limit' ) and the MPH calc puts me at 497. That's through an 80e with 4.10's.

what calc are you using. the ones i have show a much higher ET number and a much lower mph number.

the mph number was always been close to my dynojet numbers.

I don't know ... I just put 'horsepower calculator' in google and starter trying. i could have the numbers off a little, since I was putting that from memory.

I was thinking the same thing though, the mph number was more accurate for rwhp.
