Default Track times

R- .533
60- 2.3
1/8- 8.92
1/4- 13.9
MPH 101.8
Thats the last time i'm going to the track with weight in the back instead of slicks. i added 200lb of weight, and it did help but man, i think it really slow'd me down in the end ...., still all threw 1st gear i was spinning . i need to fix a bunch of little things , torque management, slicks, meth,...better reaction times and i think i'll be in 12's with this truck

my best 60 was 2.1 with a good burnout

Nice MPH. If my truck ran that I would be happy.

Just FYI, the R/T does not effect ET. But if you are spinning as bad as you said, plus those extra mods, 12's could be close.

I would think you have quite a bit more left in it if you could get traction. Do you have a converter? Did you ever install that cam?

If you have all the stuff in your sig I think you're still a bit behind. Could you infrom us of everything done to the truck at this point?

Getting the 60' will defiantely get you closer to the 12s but I don't think you're going to drop enough 60' to get you there without a big stall and some more power.

Did you weigh the truck while at the track?

well, to start i had my dad with me, and my subs in the cab to, with weight in the back, well, drop 400lb and get slicks i feel would help alot. 1st gear really doesn't set me in the seat like 2nd will, thats a sign.and i've heard i could gane alot from deleting torque managment, at the power levels i'm at.

i never installed that cam for my last truck that is now gone, this truck had a cam when i got it.the cam in this truck is a 210/218 .531/.531 114, stock stall

*note, this is my 1st time racing at a dragstrip period.

yeah the slicks will help alot you should maybe consider some caltracs and then a stall maybe 2800 or so should be perfect. by the way what did it run you to get your heads ported and polished

I think if you finish off the setup.. IE caltracs, slicks, 3200stall, custom tuning and seom weight reduction you could hit 12s with some good driving. As with anything in this game you have to go all out if you want to excel. You have the major goods so just add the lil stuff and you're home free
