oh yea only stall the truck to 900 to 1000 rpms for the best launch without tm taking over.

 

With my old 4.8L, I got the best times launching at 1000rpm. I had alot of tire spin and could only muster up a 15.4 with like a 2.3 60ft. I had Airaid intake, MIT, Superchips programmer, and TB spacer. I could never get a better time, and I usually averaged a 15.6.

 

i had on stock tires , also my spare tire, it was hot that day.How do i do that launch .

 

how do i launch witha a utomatic.

 

press on the brake and the gas at the same time and hold the rpms at the 1000 mark and when the light turns green let of the brake and push the gas inthe rest of the way. good luck.
