Default Tr224

I'm thinking about getting the Thunder Racing 224 cam for my 6.0L Denali. What springs do you guys recommend with this cam? Also, will LS1 Edit be needed to tune with and such? One last thing.....will I need to start considering an aftermarket converter? Thanks.

That would be nice cam in your 6.0. If it's a high lift version you would need to go with 918's. If it;s the low lift version, then you should be able to get away with the 02 ls6 springs.

There arent any low lift versions of the TR224. The lift on both the 112and114 LSAs are .58x.

I have that cam in my Camaro, and its AWSOME! Sounds sweet, and pulls hard. You would need Comp 918s and at least a 2600 stall.

Thanks guys for the quick replies. A 114lsa would be a lil better for a daily driven truck wouldnt you think?

It will idle smoother, but the lope of the 112 sounds sweet. And you get a little more top end power.
