Default Tr220 w/ls6 springs, can it be done?

Right now i'm running a Comp 212/218 w/the stock 799/243 springs. Could i get away w/using them with the tr220? Its on a 112lsa, my brother has 918's to go with it but if i can get away w/o swapping for now it would help. But if i have to then so be it, lol.

Thanks

if its a 551 lift you'll be pushing the limits of those LS6's. Thats cam is to aggresive for those springs IMO. Grab you some new PAC springs and call it good. I don't trust 918s to save my life lol.

Ever see the aftermath of a broken valve spring???? That cost way more than buying the correct springs now.

I've never heard .590... I've heard the argument of .550 and .570.

My cam lift is .532/.525, So regardless I wasn't concerned really regardless of which one it was.

I'm with these guys on the 918s. Had one set of 918s with no trouble at all. Then got another set and one broke dropped a valve destroyed my engine and well next time I'll buy pac. I'm not sure what lift ls6 springs are good to, I'd really like to know tho because I've heard .550 and .570 as well. A friend of mine is runnin a .565 lift cam with ls6 springs and has had no issues, so maybe they are good to .570 lol
