Default TR220 or 224

Wondering if i should go with the tr220 or 224 for my 2000 rcsb silverado. current mods include 4.10 gears, tb stall, shift kit, wait 4 me tune. this truck is my daily driver, but drive my car for trips. recently found a guy nearby to road tune. only towing done is pulling a 4 wheeler. oh yeah im running a stock bottom end with stock heads (except for 918 springs) shaved .030.

That'll be what I upgrade to. If you're gonna spend the dinero, go with the TR224. A tb stall may be too low though. Probably best to get a 3K. Others will chime in. There are a couple guys running 5.3s with the 224 grind. What motor you mod'n?

*edit* - Check with Bluecajun5.3... may be running a similar cam (TR220).

no matter with which cam the TR220 or TR224, you will need a bigger converter... I used to have the 220 with the TB stall and it was not enough even with my 4.10's, I went to a 2800 and it matched perfect, it could still use more but it is enough.... but now Im thinking of a 3200 with a TR224..
