I need to find out what to torque some new heads to. I tried a search, but I'm at work, and the boss was coming. So I'll check back later.

Assuming you are using new stock bolts, use Fogle's procedure above. If you are using ARP head bolts, follow their instructions/torque specs.

It is easiest to ust a marker and put a line on the bolts. If you put a horizontal line(-), 90* will put the line straight vertical(|). 50* will then put it diagonal(/).

Here is an excellent writeup on a head swap. http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=3
