Default TPS code

Aftermy new tune came in, I did the idle learn and thought it would sound better if it idled a little lower in drive, so I unplugged it, and just drove it, with out doing the idle learn. This weekend while in 4lo on an incline the ses light came on, and its the tps code, I've reset it a few times, and cant get it to learn the idle again. I can get it then it will loose it when the light comes back on. its starting to get agrivating wen it dies a few times everytime I start it unless I have my foot on the gas. What do yall thin? and where is a good place to get another if it is the problem? Thanks

TPS= Throttle Position Sensor.

Did you unplug the TPS? Maybe one of the wires is backed out of the connector? If you want to lower the engine idle, that must be done through tuning. There is a desired idle that can be changed in the PCM. It will try to maintain this idle via the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve)

Bummer man...just make sure that you double-check all the wiring before you spend cash on any parts. If I remember correctly, you recently had the heads off, and it's always possible that a wire got pinched or broken during the install. It would be nice if you had a spare tb w/ the necessary sensors to swap in as a tester also. Good luck!!

Thanks. Yea, I checked all the wires visually and they looked fine, I was kind of hoping for an easy fix, it ran good for a week or so before it started throwing codes, and acting up at idle, so I figure something needs to be replaced. I took the TB apart and the IAC was stiff to move. If I remember correctly, when I ported the TB it was easy to mave, anyone know if it should be easy to move by hand, and should it spring back by itself??
