you have all the info you will need, right here, do a search, youll find alot of things on cams and tq managment, tq management pulls timing out through shifts in order to help make the trans have a long life, softens the gear change blow to it.

ok TM is a computer controlled security for your transmission really. It pulls timing out on take off and shifts to protect the tranny. So even though you are shifting at 5800 rpm the engine is not producing peak HP or TQ becasue the CPU is pulling timing to compensate. this really hurts with times and all out drivability of the truck. Also on take off it is a killer, do you feel the hesitiation then like your truck is limping along until 3000rpm. this is another factor of the computer pulling timing out to adjust and not to overload the under built transmission. Cam their are alot of differnt profiles and everything, do you want to understand the basic lingo or do yo want the best cam for your truck. Really talk to any of the sponsors ---> like thinder or speed and they should be able to help you.
