as for gas mileage, i can't really tell what i am getting. i haven't calculated it in years, even though i reset my odometer everytime i fill it up. i used to get about 18 in the summer and 15 in the winter. after the TC, it seemed to go down a bit, especially with city driving. on the highway, it shouldn't change. after 150 miles, i would be at 3/4 tank. now after 120 miles i am at 3/4 tank

yeah for more daily driver i would say 2600 but when you get it you will want a higher stall i guarantee it

You're right, you can't use that Trailblazer converter on your 80e. You'll have to shop around a little bit. Hughes is who I went with, I think I would try PI if I did it again though.
