Default Torque Converter setup!!

I was thinking of buying the vigilante 3200, but recently i've been hearing alot about the TCI converters, and they are alot cheaper so im thinking of going with them. What stall do you think would be best with 3.42 gears and lots of nitrous? I just want to get off the line quicker and start sprayin. Also what shift kit would you all recommend with it...corvette servo or transgo?
