Ok guys I have done my homework on some cams, checking out the cam page and other sites, and I still have a few questions. The potential cams are: Vinci High Performance
"047"(210/218 .531/.531 114)
"062"(210/218 .551/.551 112 )
GM
"hot cam"(219/228 .525/.525 112)
Questions which cam will lope the hardest, kinda dumb question but it will be a factor, and which cam could I get away with without a stall?
(4.8 auto),current mods: pacesetter lts, ory, cutout, cia. I would like to also spray after the Cam so the best cam for nitrous is also a factor.
Any info and opinions much needed
Thanks guys matt

bottom to top order of "lopes hardest". top to bottom order of driveability without stall. not sure which would be the best for a nitrous application. the 062 does build alot of cylinder pressure which may not necessarily be a good thing to spray on top of.

With all of those cams you're pushing it with a stock converter. The third one is way too big for a 4.8L, you'll be limping along until about 3000 RPM's or maybe more.
To get your goal of 'lope' you'll need a small LSA, so the second one (with a 112 LSA) is your best choice to get some decent power, with a lope, while still being driveable.

The 062 is an awesome cam!

I have the hotcam and its a decent cam, lopes hard, make good power. However, with the stock coverter I would NOT recommend it. I have a 3000 stall, so for me, there was no loss of low end.

I would go with the 062 if oyu plan on staying with the stock converter but if you want performance get a damn converter and get the hot cam and have fun leaving two black marks across any unsuspecting intersection.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input it helps a ton during the decision process. So it seems the 062 would be a good pick does anyone have a sound clip of that cam?
