you can go on to some websites and type in your tire size, gear ratio and your rpms, and it gives you your speed.

135+ a few times, still climbing fast, i bet it has 160in it if a was that crazy. at 100mph it still puts you back hard when you floor it. turbos are the ****.

for me 135 was when it started to not feel safe anymore. i dont want to die.

My Dad and I did 140mph waaaaayyy back in a 1977 Chevy Silverado LB with a big-block 454! That ended up being my first vehicle when I got my 'hardship' license (we had a cotton farm) at age 15 and I promptly added Headman long tubes to the already true duals without converters. Also had an old-school velocity stack on top of the 4 barrel with a K&N. Ha! It was sweet with all the factory options and a nice two-tone green with with a little metal flake and white spoke wheels. I made 7mpg when running it hard and 12mpg at best. We kept it for 12 years and only ended up with 77k miles on it.

P.S. I also promptly got a ticket for 95mph in the rain! Seriously heavy rain! It was a constable that pulled me over and when he was stopping behind me he slid off the road and sunk in the ditch. Another guy tried to stop to help and he slid his car off into the ditch too and sunk it. Pretty crazy - but we all learn better - or do we?! (I have only had a couple police chasing me since then... ) Back then ('82) - a 95mph speeding ticket wasn't so bad - only $86 - the worst part was telling my Dad!
