what are the exact directions? if it is tells you to pull the air tube to the TB and spray it in there then yes you will want to pull the conector off of the maf sensor, it will run fine without the tube if you have the sensor unpluged but may not run at all if you dont unplug it.

Not in the gas tank.

I used the spray version into the intake. I think you can use the liquid too, but take it slowly. Maybe put it into a spray bottle so its easier to dispense and regulate as well as semi-airborn like the spray version.

We left the truck on and used the brake vacuum line, we let it suck it in until the truck was almost dying, and then we let it die. We let it sit 10 minutes and had to help the throttle for the first few minutes and then we watched the smoke show.

ahh ok, let me say this clearer, i didnt really specify it to good on my first post,,

I have the aeresol can of Top Engine Cleaner, and the liquid can of Sea Foam,

so basically, if i want to spray the aeresol can, i can just take off my maf, and spray down the beginning of the k&n intake tube with the engine on?

And the reason i asked about putting Sea Foam down the gas tank, as that is what it says on the homepage, but i really wasent sure. anyone confirm this if its ok to do?

thanks for anymore feedback, i didnt get to do this yesterday as me and Shark_g had a few races in the afternoon, but i plan to hit the track next friday with fresh oil in my crankcase..

WOA! don't use both! one or the other. pro stock john has it exactly right. that is also what i was taught in GM school way back when. you actually want to hydro lock the motor so to speak, that way the solvent has a chance to soak into the deposits and properly loosen and soften them up. definately a smoke show!

I use the liquid Top Engine Cleaner.
To use that:
You disconnect the plug on the MAF, and pour the stuff into the TB(you'll have to open the TB plate a bit). Pour about 2/3 in and stall it purposefully.
Wait 5 minutes, then start it up and pour the rest of the TEC in, then turn it off.
Wait 15 minutes, start her up, and rev the **** out of it...
WOOO!! White smoke everywhere
